Tonight's catch

Which fish bite here, right now?

Pick where your boat is, the sky, and day or night. Burbot, Pike and Stickleback bite everywhere in any weather; everything else has a district, a weather list and a time of day. Tier 1 is the easiest, tier 8 the rarest.

Conditions are from the community Fish Guide on Steam, checked against the in-game fish journal names; the "have caught it" figure is that fish's Steam achievement unlock rate (October 4, 2026). Full fishing guide with rods, boat fuel and spots

The Ramen Noir ledger

How far players have got, one week in

You inherit Thaddeus's noodle bar with about 1,000 lims and a 50,000 debt. Each bar below is the share of all Steam players who have reached that step, taken from the game's achievement unlock rates. The big drop is between one venue and two: a second lease needs a business permit.

  1. Serve your first customer 86.8%
  2. 100 customers served 47.3%
  3. 500 lims in one day 29.4%
  4. Lease a second venue 16%
  5. Clear the 50,000 debt 1.9%
  6. Run five venues 0.8%

Rates pulled from Steam on October 4, 2026, five days after launch. Players who cleared the debt that fast mostly did it with one quest payout, not noodles. How the money actually comes in · The debt and the loan shark

Lowtown, under curfew

What is Nivalis Nights?

Nivalis Nights is a first-person cyberpunk life sim and restaurant management by ION LANDS, the studio behind Cloudpunk, published by 505 Games. It came out on Steam on September 29, 2026 for $24.99. You take over Thaddeus Carminus's noodle bar, Ramen Noir, in Lowtown, along with his 50,000-lim debt, while CorpSec locks the district down over a serial killer called the Aseptic. Days go to cooking and hiring; nights after curfew go to dodging cameras, fishing from your boat or emptying a rival's kitchen. The parts people search for most are staff and managers, fishing, greenhouse farming and romance.

  2. Swap tables for bar stools and hire one cook and two or three waiters whose wanted hours match your shifts. Staff guide
  3. Pick up the free rusty rod from Ady at the Docks and fish the glowing spots. Fishing guide
  4. Plant the seeds you find in trash bags once Clem opens the greenhouse: one seed per module, ten crops out. Farming guide
  5. Level the bar, earn a permit, then lease venue two. Keep about 1,000 lims spare before you hire a manager. Money guide

Questions people ask at the counter

Is Nivalis Nights multiplayer or co-op?

No. It is single-player only, and the developers say no multiplayer or co-op features are planned.

How do I make money fast in Nivalis Nights?

Put a drink on every menu, raise prices while seats stay full, grow your own ingredients, and sell your starting apartment furniture. The biggest single payout is the shady-landlord side quest, where clearing the landlord's apartment sells for about 40,000 lims. Full breakdown on the money guide.

Why is my manager not restocking, or spending all my money?

Managers buy every ingredient on your menu and need cash to do it, so keep about 1,000 lims in the bank and keep the menu small. A fridge full of rotten food also blocks restocking. The launch bug where managers placed duplicate orders was patched around October 2.

Who writes this wiki

Nivalis Nights Wiki is a player-written reference for the ION LANDS life sim, started in its first week on Steam. It is for people running Ramen Noir who want the numbers behind fish, staff wages, greenhouses and curfew instead of a vibe. It is not made, approved or paid for by ION LANDS or 505 Games.
