Nivalis Nights Mods, Trainers & Cheats: What Exists

Is Nivalis Nights moddable?

Not officially. The developers’ FAQ on Steam answers “Does Nivalis Nights support modding tools?” with: “This isn’t part of the game’s scope at the moment.” There is no Steam Workshop.

The game is built in Unity, and like most Unity games it can be modded by the community anyway. “Nivalis nights mods” is one of the fastest-rising searches for the game on Google Trends.

What players have made

Nexus Mods. The best known early mod fixed managers overbuying stock. A Steam guide linked it in the first days; on October 2 the mod author wrote that the latest developer patch fixed the duplicate ordering bug, the mod was obsolete, and a standalone version with better order sorting was coming. Other Nexus mods cover shared stock between venues.
The mod stack. Almost all of them need BepInEx 6 (IL2CPP build) installed first. Players list: Nivalis Unofficial Patch (manager restocking, NPC animation, performance), Nivalis Better Time (clock speed 1.0 / 0.5 / 0 frozen, T to wait until the 02:00 curfew), NivalisSlowDays, Greenhouse Travel, Farm Supply, Placement Grid (grid snapping for furniture), Tracked Quests HUD, and a VR mod on GitHub.
Slow-time mods. The in-game clock runs fast, and mods that slow it down appeared within days of launch, per The Singleplayer Squad’s review.
A save editor. A Steam community guide offers a tool to edit money, items and relationships, and says it makes backups.
A sandbox menu. Another community guide offers an in-game menu (flying, teleporting, items, money, time, weather).

Trainers and Cheat Engine

“Nivalis nights trainer” and “cheat engine” searches are common. Trainers change values in memory while the game runs. Things to know before you try one:

It is a single-player game with no anti-cheat, so there is no ban risk.
Third-party trainer sites are a common source of malware. Only use well-known sources and scan downloads.
Patches change memory layouts. Trainers built for launch day break after updates.
Money from a trainer skips the economy, which is most of the game.

Back up before you mod

Your saves live in:

%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\ION LANDS\Nivalis Nights

Copy the whole folder before installing anything. If a mod breaks a save, put the copy back. Steam Cloud may sync the broken save, so turn cloud sync off for the game while testing.

Cheats without mods

There are no console commands or cheat codes. If you want money without tools, the money guide covers the methods the game itself allows, including the night-time theft system and the landlord quest payout.
