Nivalis Nights Apartments: All 11 Homes, Rent & Decorating
Your starting apartment
You wake up in a Lowtown apartment. Arriving by taxi from Meridian Market, it is in the back right corner, up a flight of stairs behind a concrete entryway. On entering, the apartment screen shows:
- Daily rent: 10 lims. Two separate players report the same figure.
- Current equipment value: about 18,000. That is the furniture and appliances already inside.
That second number explains the most common day-one money trick: take everything out and sell it to the furniture and appliance vendors in Meridian Market. Some players keep the bed; others sell that too and sleep in public shelters or on the bench in their boat. One player says to sell the cheapest items first, because your relationship tier with a vendor rises as you trade and later sales get a better rate.
You can also set the lighting, place a treadmill, and use the balcony. Hunger and sleep matter a little, so keep somewhere to sleep.

That is 11 named homes in the achievement list, plus your starting Lowtown flat. Names point at districts (Calypso Island, the Stacks, the Spire), but we only list exact locations we have confirmed. Helix Monumental has no apartment for rent, only an emergency shelter, according to a player who searched it thoroughly.
“808 Harbor Overlook” is the one people search for by name (5.5%). Harbor Overlook is also step 3 of the Thaddeus Retirement quest: see quests.
Renting more homes
Other apartments can be leased the same way. Players who strip furniture for cash repeat the trick in other districts and then cancel the lease. Some apartments have balconies and terraces with city views, per the developers’ FAQ.
Decorating
The FAQ: “You can furnish your apartments however you’d like, with paintings, lights, furniture and more.” Furniture vendors sell by style (Art Deco, contemporary and others), and each piece has a comfort value.
Where to buy decorations: the furniture vendors in Meridian Market are closest but priced high. Players report the Hive Mall as the cheapest for furniture, with umbrellas on its second floor. Paintings count as decorations; there is an achievement for putting a picture on a venue wall.
Interior design jobs
You can also decorate other people’s homes. Two achievements cover it:
