Nivalis Nights Where to Buy: Drink Machine, Seeds & Decor

The fastest way: search the journal

Press J, go to the vendors tab and search for the item (“ramen”, “sugar”, “drink machine”) or filter by vendor type. The journal lists every vendor you have already spoken to that sells it, where they are, and what they buy and sell for. Click one to see the full price list.

So the trick for anything you cannot find: talk to every vendor in each new district once. After that, the journal answers “where do I buy X” for you. It also tells you who buys an item for the most, for selling.

Ingredients

Most raw ingredients are in the central area of Meridian Market: the butcher (chicken, meat), the greengrocer (onions, vegetables, ramen noodles), the farmer, the baker and the fishmonger. Prices there run about 7% above base, so players buy staples in Lowtown (about 2% under) or the Sewers (about 4% under) once those are open.

Ingredient availability changes daily. The morning news lists shortages and surpluses. If a vendor has run out (one vendor had only four packs of ramen on day one), check the journal for another.

Hard-to-find ingredients people ask about

Sugar, chocolate, cocoa powder, coffee beans and liquid nitrogen are frequent searches. Use the journal search after meeting the vendors in each district: these specialist items are spread across districts, and which vendor stocks them can change with shortages. We list exact vendors here once two players report the same one.

Selling

  • Vendors have relationship tiers (shown as a letter, starting around C). Trading levels them up and improves their prices for you. Sell cheap items first to the vendor you will sell expensive items to.
  • Fish sell for roughly half what the fishing screen shows.
  • Rotten food sells for 0, but selling it clears space.
  • Daily surpluses lower what vendors pay; shortages raise it.
