- ✅ The city: districts packed with people, weather that changes the mood, and night-time neon (every reviewer we read led with it)
- ✅ Music and voice acting; every character is voiced
- ✅ The noodle bar loop is fun to micromanage, and you do not have to
- ✅ Lots to do besides cooking: fishing by boat, greenhouses, chess, decorating, night-time burglary
- ✅ A photo mode with focus, aperture and grain controls
- ✅ Fair price at $24.99
What they complain about
- ❌ Performance: drops toward 30 FPS in crowded districts even on an RTX 4070 Ti or 4090, and no DLSS or FSR
- ❌ Managers overbought stock at launch (patched around October 2)
- ❌ The business sim gives little feedback on why a venue loses money
- ❌ The in-game clock runs fast for a game about wandering the city; slow-time mods appeared within days
- ❌ Side quests pile up fast; some players wanted more business and less story
- ❌ No character creator
- ❌ Rough edges: NPCs popping in, items hard to place, no grid snapping
